Celebrating Success: Horizons Participants Achieve Employment Milestones!

Over the past four months, Horizons participants have been hard at work perfecting their resumes and sharpening their job search skills. Their dedication and perseverance have paid off, with seven participants successfully securing meaningful employment in the last three months. We couldn’t be prouder of their achievements!

Meet Our Successful Participants:

  • Adam has joined Duffy Law Office as an Office Administrative Assistant. His organizational skills and attention to detail have been invaluable in keeping the office running smoothly and assisting with inquiries.
  • Anton is now a Sales Associate at Shoppers Drug Mart on Topsail Road. His role ensures that stock is properly shelved, the store remains organized, and his warm personality helps create a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Courtney has secured a position at Pipers on Elizabeth Avenue. With prior experience and a strong passion for retail, Courtney quickly adapted to her new role, assisting with clothing and cashier.
  • Jonathan is now part of the team at Shoppers Drug Mart on Lemarchant Road. His dedication to maintaining stocked shelves and managing freight has made him a valuable asset to the store.
  • Lavender has taken on a Sales Associate role at Piper’s on Aberdeen Avenue, where she helps keep the store organized, stocks shelves, and provides excellent service in the clothing department by assisting customers with sizing.
  • Taylor has joined Pipers at the Village Mall, leveraging past security experience to support various store operations. When not managing security at the front, Taylor showcases exceptional customer service behind the cash.
  • Val has secured employment at Pipers in Mount Pearl, contributing to store upkeep, restocking shelves, and assisting customers in the clothing department.

We celebrate these incredible achievements and commend our participants for their dedication and hard work. Their success highlights the importance of inclusive employment opportunities and the value they bring to the workplace.
