We would like to take this opportunity to highlight one of our Horizons employers, Habitat ReStore, St. John’s! This local business is a leader in inclusive employment, and they have hired two very hard working participants from our current group.
Habitat for Humanity Restore is a charitable, non-profit organization that accepts home improvement items such as furniture, appliances and building material donations to put for sale. These profits are directed to support Habitat building projects within our province, which in turn helps the community as a whole by providing affordable homeownership opportunities to low-income working families.
