We are excited to say our pilot adult day program is now one of our most successful programs! This program is an innovative collaboration between our Recreation and Career and Educational Services Departments. In our first session of what’s now officially called “Build Your Skills” we chatted about goals and the importance of identifying personal goals and how to achieve them.
Participants’ goals ranged from meeting new people, becoming more responsible, being more active, and learning how to cook. Fitness goals were high on the list and were implemented during the delivery of gym activities. Working as a team, participants created a colorful poster where their goals are now displayed.
Congratulations to all of our past and current Build Your Skills participants. We look forward to the continued success of this program!
