In our mission to inspire, engage, and maximize opportunities for people with disabilities in the province, our team continues to grow at Easter Seals NL! Whether you are a seasoned Easter Seals NL participant or are a part of our organization for the first time, we want you to get to know us.

Name: Mark Bradbury

Position: CEO

Years in position: 8 years

Fun Fact: Mark is an avid aquarist, motorcyclist, and muscle car enthusiast, and loves cabin living and everything that goes with it such as hiking, biking, hunting, and fishing!

 

Name: Katie Janes

Position: Office Manager

Years in position: 13 years

Fun Fact: Katie has three cats at home that she loves dearly – Shy, Oliver, and Callie!

 

 

Name: Rebecca McNeill

Position: Accounting and Office Administrator

Years in position: 1 year

Fun Fact: Rebecca has always been musical and is learning how to play the Baritone!

 

 

Name: Megan Fitzgerald

Position: Recreation Programs Manager

Years in position: 5 years

Fun Fact: Megan was a competitive rower, competed in the 2013 Canada Games, and has 2 Royal St.John’s Regatta Championships!

 

 

Name: Dayna Penney

Position: Recreation Programs and Outreach Coordinator

Years in position: 3 years

Fun Fact: Dayna recently moved to Lab City and owns a Harley Davidson!

 

 

Name: Katlyn Winters

Position: Recreation Programs Coordinator – Part Time

Fun Fact: Katlyn loves to play broomball in her spare time!

 

 

Name: Hayley Redmond

Position: Recreation Programs Assistant – Part Time

Fun Fact: Before her Easter Seals NL days, Hayley was a competitive youth bowler and was the first in Canada to be approved to compete nationally in a wheelchair!

 

Name: Emily Murphy

Position: Recreation Programs Lead – Part Time

Years in position: Almost 1 year

Fun Fact: Emily shares a birthday with Dr. Phil!

 

 

Name: Brigitte Smith

Position: Recreation Programs Lead – Part Time

Fun Fact: Brigitte can’t get dizzy!

Fun Fact: Nick climbed to the top of a volcano in Hawaii!

 

Name: Paula Hayes

Position: Employment & Educational Services Director

Years in position: 22 years

Fun Fact: Paula recently got a new dog, but he acts more like a cat!

Position: Opportunities Fund and ‘I Can Too!’ Disability Education Coordinator

Fun Fact: Rachel has two French bulldogs, Andrew and Esme!

 

 

Name: Petra Chaffey-Johnson

Position: Horizons Work Experience and Secure Futures Program Officer

Fun Fact: Petra loved peanut butter, but only the Kraft brand, smooth and light!

 

 

Name: Breanna Pelley

Fun Fact: Breanna plays and coaches soccer, and has 2two adorable puppies – Bella and Brandi!

Position: ‘I Can Too!’ Disability Education Assistant

Fun Fact: Abby’s favorite food of all time is ice cream, specifically soft serve!

 

 

Name: Samantha Parrell

Position: Fund Development and Communications Manager

Fun Fact: Few people know that Sam is an excellent percussionist!

 

 

Name: Kari Dunphy

Position: Grant Writer and Planned Giving Coordinator

Years in position: 1 year

Fun Fact: Kari once wrote a 50-page paper at University about Lord of the Rings… and she got an A!

 

 

Name: Laura Douglas

Position: Fund Development and Communications Coordinator

Years in position: 2 years

Fun Fact: Laura has traveled to 16 countries, and Nicaragua was her favourite!

 

 

Name: Sabrina Escott

Position: Fund Development and Communications Events Assistant

Years in position: 1 week

Fun Fact: Sabrina’s brother named her after Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and she has a black cat named Salem because of it!
