Easter Seals NL is excited to offer monthly socials for participants to meet new people, dance the night away, and play games! Our socials are a vibrant opportunity to come together, have fun, and forge lasting connections. From exciting games of bingo to invigorating fitness sessions, our social events are designed to provide a safe space for socialization and skill-building.

Socials are open to Easter Seals NL participants aged 13 and over. 

Location: All socials will take place at Easter Seals NL (206 Mount Scio Road)

MARCH

An Afternoon of Board Games

Date: Wednesday, March 6th, 2024
Time: 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $5.00

Come join us for a social afternoon of board games! Gather your friends and explore your competitive side with a friendly game of Scrabble, UNO, or Monopoly. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy some company and socialize with friends. 

St. Patrick’s Day Dance

Date: Friday, March 15th, 2024
Time: 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Cost: $5.00

Get your green on and join us on a St. Paddy’s Day bash! Get ready to dance to lively tunes, play a themed game, and revel in the infectious spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. Whether you’re Irish or Irish-at-heart it is your lucky day!

APRIL

Spring Fling Dance

Date: April 19th, 2024
Time: 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Cost: $5

Get ready to celebrate spring in style at our annual Spring Fling Dance! Come dressed in your spring colors and join us for an evening of lively music and blooming decorations. It’s the perfect opportunity to shake off the winter blues and dance the night away with friends old and new!

Gym Games Socials

Date: Friday, May 24th, 2024
Time: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Cost: $5

Let’s move our bodies, get active and have fun with friends! During this social we will be playing a variety of physical education/cooperative games. These will include some classic favorites, and hopefully a few new games you’ve never played before! Get ready to break a sweat and have some fun!

Board Game Red Shirt Social

Date: Wednesday, May 29th, 2024
Time: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Cost: $5

Join us for a Red Shirt Day board game social! Wear red and show your support for accessAbility and inclusion. Red Shirt Day is a national event where we unite to celebrate achievements, support individuals with disabilities, and pledge to create an inclusive society. Let’s come together for a fun-filled afternoon of board games, camaraderie, and socialization!

JUNE

Kick Off To Summer Fire

Date: Friday, June 14th, 2024
Time: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Cost: $5

Join us for an unforgettable Kick-Off to Summer Fire event! Gather around the crackling fire with friends and family. Roast marshmallows and wieners, indulge in delicious s’mores, and jam out to campfire classics. It’s the perfect start to our summer of fun in the sun and camp adventures ahead. Don’t miss out on this chance to create lasting memories and embrace the warmth (hopefully) of summer nights!
