Rhea’s journey with Easter Seals NL is filled with vibrant experiences—ranging from Danceability and Swimming to Climbing, Youth Camp, and Socials. Rhea’s first summer at camp was a memorable adventure; despite initial nerves about being away from home, the kindness and support of the volunteers quickly helped her settle in, forming lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.
Rhea’s enthusiasm doesn’t stop there. Her participation in events like Celebrate the Season with Shanneyganock has boosted her confidence and showcased her natural flair for performance.
Rhea is honored to be the 2025 Easter Seals Newfoundland and Labrador Ambassador.
Looking ahead, Rhea is determined to make a lasting impact. With plans to attend medical school and pursue a career as a pediatrician, she is driven by a deep desire to help children and advocate for a more inclusive community. Through her journey, Rhea stands as a shining example of resilience, compassion, and the incredible opportunities that Easter Seals NL offers.
Our goal is to provide people of all ages with physical, cognitive, and any other disabilities with the opportunity to participate in programs and services that aim to build inclusion in Newfoundland and Labrador.
