Seth & Matty’s Hat Trick Campaign

Learn about this exciting new fundraising campaign created by two best friends who met at school and had their friendship grow throughout Easter Seals NL's programs like Sledge Hockey. They want to do their part to ensure people with disabilities in our province get accessible and inclusive opportunities to play outside, make new friends, and make memories together.

Seth & Matty’s Hat Trick Campaign

Seth and Matty are two best friends who first met at school, but their friendship truly blossomed at Easter Seals Newfoundland and Labrador — where shared experiences and time spent together deepened their bond.

Now, they’re teaming up to give back. Together, they’ve launched the Hat Trick Campaign to help raise funds for Phase 3 of the Easter Seals Park Project at Easter Seals NL.

Seth and Matty’s Store is CLOSED, for now. STAY TUNED!

Campaign Donations

After learning more about Seth and Matty’s Hat-Trick Campaign, Perlin Family Trust provided a donation to benefit Phase 3 of Easter Seals NL’s Park Project.

As part of Hickman Auto Group’s 120th anniversary, employees were invited to direct a $1,000 donation to a not-for-profit organization of their choice. After learning more about Seth and Matty’s Hat-Trick Campaign, Colin Rose—a long-time Easter Seals NL volunteer and supporter—was inspired to give back and support Phase 3 of the Park, helping to continue to expand inclusive outdoor recreation opportunities for families in Newfoundland and Labrador.

A huge thank you to the Shamrock Showdown Organizers and the St. John’s Fire Fighters for inviting Seth and Matty to take part in the puck drop at this year’s Shamrock Showdown.

What a moment for the boys and a wonderful way to highlight the impact of community coming together in support of Seth and Matty’s Hat Trick for Easter Seals NL to raise funds for Phase 3 of our Park Project. This moment was near and dear to the Hyde Family, sharing this moment with Darin’s work family was certainly meaningful.

Congratulations to Her Majesty’s Penitentiary (HMP) on becoming the 2026 Shamrock Showdown Champions, and to every team from fire services, police, corrections, the military, and emergency services who took part in such a fantastic tournament.

Thank you all for supporting Easter Seals NL, raising $6600 and helping make the Shamrock Showdown another incredible success.
