Adult Camp Bumbleberry

Adult Camp Bumbleberry is a highlight of the year, and a date you’ll want circled on your calendar! Designed for campers ages 18+, this four-day, three-night overnight experience focuses on fun, friendship, and independence.

Throughout the week, campers enjoy a wide range of classic camp activities, including campfires, movie nights, outdoor games, creative crafts, and of course — plenty of fun at the water. Every day is thoughtfully planned to encourage connection, confidence, and meaningful shared experiences in an inclusive and supportive environment.

2026 Theme: Out of This World!
Last year, our campers dove into “Under the Sea” adventures. Now in 2026, we’re heading to Outer Space!

Adult Camp Bumbleberry is more than just a getaway, it’s a chance to build independence and create lasting memories.

Additional Information:

Camper Support: Easter Seals NL provides direct camper support during youth camp. Counsellors are trained and able to assist with personal care, behaviour supports, adaptations, mobility, etc. ESNL Staff are trained to provide full support to allow campers to attend independently.
Support Workers: If a camper attends with a support staff, accommodations will be shared with other campers; independent accommodations are not available. If a camper is attending with a support staff, please connect with ESNL staff once registered to ensure necessary accommodations can be met
Membership Requirement: All registrants must be members of Easter Seals NL and have completed a new member intake. For membership inquiries, contact Megan Wall, Recreation Program Manager at megan@eastersealsnl.ca or call (709) 754-1399 ext. 230

2026 Camp Details

Ages: 18+

Location: Burry Heights Camp Retreat, Salmonier Line

Camp Delivery: 3:00 pm Monday – 12:00 pm Thursday

Cost: $300, which includes all meals and accommodations

Transportation: Transportation is available upon request; the fee is dependent on the number of passengers travelling. Please contact Sean to request transportation – sean@eastersealsnl.ca

Registration Process:

Complete ACTIVE Registration (this is an expression of interest; no payment is due at the time).
Payment: You must select a payment method during registration. Full payment will be due one week before the camp start date.
Once your ACTIVE registration is submitted, you’ll receive a Camper Google Form in your ACTIVE Confirmation Email. You will have 10 business days to complete this form.
After submitting the form and confirming payment, an Easter Seals NL staff member will contact you to confirm your families space.
Required Forms: Campers must complete the following forms before attending:
- Camp Consent (updated yearly)
- Program Code of Conduct (once)
- Media Release (once)
- Medication Authorization (if applicable)

Once everything is confirmed, you’ll receive updates via email.

Important Dates:

Registration Opens: March 4th, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
Registration Closes: April 30th, 2026
Acceptance Emails Sent: By May 31st, 2026

Note: Full weekend Registration is limited to accommodation capacity, and families are accepted in the order of registration.
