2025 Summer Day Camp at Easter Seals NL

We’re excited to announce the 2025 Easter Seals Summer Camp, running from July 7th to August 29th at Easter Seals NL, located at 206 Mount Scio Road. Our camp is designed to help campers build physical, creative, and social skills, all while making lifelong memories and friendships. Campers will accomplish goals in a safe and supportive environment.


Camp Details:

Ages: 6–16 years old

Location: Easter Seals NL, 206 Mount Scio Road, St. John’s

Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Drop-off starts at 8:30 a.m., Pick-up by 4:30 p.m.)

Cost: $125 per week

Meals: Campers are required to bring their lunches and snacks.

Weekly Themes:

Each week of camp will focus on a unique theme, with activities and special guest visitors designed to enhance the experience.

Week 1 (July 7–11): Creepy Crawlers & Wild Wonders (Animals)

Week 2 (July 14–18): Sparkle, Jingle, & Celebrate (Valentine’s, St. Patrick’s, Easter, Halloween, Christmas)
Week 3 (July 21–25): Fly Me Through the Trees and Up to the Stars (Nature & Space)
Week 4 (July 28–August 1): Zip Zap Zop (Science)
Week 5 (August 4–8): Bubbles and Waves (Sea Creatures & Ocean)
Week 6 (August 11–15): Power Plays & Game Days (Sports)
Week 7 (August 18–22): Bipity, Bopity, Kapow (Princesses & Superheroes)
Week 8 (August 25–29): Move and Groove, Jam & Jive (Music, Dance & Talent Show)


Registration Process:

Registration for camp is easy but follows a few important steps:

  1. Complete ACTIVE Registration (this is an expression of interest; no payment is due at the time).
  2. Payment: You must select a payment method during registration. Full payment will be due one week before the camp start date.
  3. Once your ACTIVE registration is submitted, you’ll receive a Camper Google Form. You will have 10 business days to complete this form.
  4. After submitting the form and confirming payment, an Easter Seals NL staff member will contact you to confirm your camper’s space.
  5. Required Forms: Campers must complete the following forms before attending:

    • Camp Consent (updated yearly)
    • Program Code of Conduct (once)
    • Media Release (once)
    • Medication Authorization (if applicable)

Once everything is confirmed, you’ll receive updates via email.


Important Dates:

  • Registration Opens: April 9th, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
  • Registration Closes: April 23rd, 2025 (Waitlist will be open after this date)
  • Acceptance Emails Sent: By April 30th, 2025 (Waitlist will be reviewed after this date)

Note: Registration is limited, and campers are accepted based on the Camp Acceptance Guidelines. If the camp reaches capacity, waitlist participants will be accommodated as space allows.


Additional Information:

  • One-on-One Support: Easter Seals NL does not provide one-on-one support. If your camper requires this support, it is the family’s responsibility to provide it.
  • Membership Requirement: All registrants must be members of Easter Seals NL and have completed a new member intake. For membership inquiries, contact Megan Wall, Recreation Program Manager at megan@eastersealsnl.ca or call (709) 754-1399 ext. 230.
