Youth Camp BumbleBurry:

Youth Camp BumbleBurry is an inclusive overnight camp for youth ages 12–18, hosted by Easter Seals in partnership with Burry Heights.

Together with fellow Burry Heights campers, participants take part in the full camp experience that consists of building friendships, trying new activities, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Through the support of our overnight camp team, campers can enjoy everything Burry Heights has to offer in an inclusive, fully supported environment. Our team works to remove barriers and eliminate logistical challenges, ensuring that every camper can participate confidently and comfortably in all aspects of camp life.

From outdoor adventures and group games to campfires and shared laughter, Youth Camp Bumbleberry is about independence, connection, and unforgettable Burry Heights magic! 

2026 Camp Details

Ages: 12-18

Location: Burry Heights Camp Retreat, Salmonier Line

Camp Delivery: August 9th to 14th, 2026

Camp Hours: 3:00 pm Sunday – 12:00 pm Friday 

Cost: $425, which includes all meals and accommodations.

Transportation: Transportation is available upon request; the fee is dependent on the number of passengers travelling. Please contact Sean to request transportation – sean@eastersealsnl.ca

Registration Process:

  1. Complete ACTIVE Registration (this is an expression of interest; no payment is due at the time).
  2. Payment: You must select a payment method during registration. Full payment will be due one week before the camp start date.
  3. Once your ACTIVE registration is submitted, you’ll receive a Camper Google Form in your ACTIVE Confirmation Email. You will have 10 business days to complete this form.
  4. After submitting the form and confirming payment, an Easter Seals NL staff member will contact you to confirm your families space.
  5. Required Forms: Campers must complete the following forms before attending:

    • Camp Consent (updated yearly)
    • Program Code of Conduct (once)
    • Media Release (once)
    • Medication Authorization (if applicable)

Once everything is confirmed, you’ll receive updates via email.

Important Dates:

  • Registration Opens: March 4th, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
  • Registration Closes: April 30th, 2026 
  • Acceptance Emails Sent: By May 31st, 2026 

Note: Full weekend Registration is limited to accommodation capacity, and families are accepted in the order of registration.
