Our Art Therapy Program, formally our Expressive Arts Program, offers the opportunity to work with a variety of art materials and techniques while also providing support for each participant’s needs. Participants will be encouraged to experiment with materials and hone their artistic skills using paint, clay, plaster cast and photography.
This program is delivered in a group setting of 8-12 participants. Working in a group setting will offer opportunities to share the artwork’s significance with peers, to witness what they too have to share, and to learn from one another’s experience making art.
Our goal is to provide people of all ages with physical, cognitive, and any other disabilities with the opportunity to participate in programs and services that aim to build inclusion in Newfoundland and Labrador.
