Wall Climbing

A Truly Fun Challenge

Our 24’ fully accessible climbing wall offers a challenge to climbers of all ages and abilities in our Wall Climbing Program. There are four main routes with varying levels of difficulty. Climbers can approach the wall using standard climbing methods or, with assistance, using a variation of volunteer support, adapted harness and equipment, including a 4:1 belay pack with an easy seat harness.

Staff and volunteers can provide support to help anyone ascend the wall. We also have an ascender handle, which allows our climbers to pull themselves up the wall independently.

TA Loeffler, adventurist extraordinaire, has shared their expertise with our program development and trains the volunteer belayers. Adaptive equipment is available for climbers with strong upper body strength but minimum leg strength to climb the wall using a pull-up style ascender.
